What is water hash?

Water hash, also known as ice water hash or bubble hash, is a type of cannabis concentrate that is made by using ice water to separate the trichomes from the plant material. Trichomes are the resinous glands on the cannabis plant that contain the cannabinoids and terpenes responsible for the plant's effects and aroma.

To make water hash, cannabis buds or trim are soaked in ice water and agitated to break off the trichomes. The mixture is then filtered through screens of different sizes to separate the trichomes from the plant material. The trichomes are collected and dried to create a potent concentrate with a high concentration of cannabinoids.

Water hash is known for its purity and potency, as it only contains the trichomes and none of the plant material. It can be consumed on its own, added to joints or bowls, or used to make edibles or other cannabis products.

Water hash is favored by many cannabis enthusiasts for its clean and flavorful experience, as well as its ability to preserve the terpene profile of the original plant. It is also considered a safer and more natural alternative to solvent-based concentrates like butane hash oil (BHO).
